About the show
A space where difficult things can be said out loud.
A Good Length explores modern masculinity, men's health, fatherhood, family law, relationships and divorce — and the pressures facing men today. Through honest conversations, expert insight and lived experience, the show creates room for difficult topics without shame, hostility or ideological extremes.
Some episodes are long-form interviews with fathers, clinicians and leaders. Others are solo essays where Venu works through the research and the personal cost of it. Either way, the aim is the same: helping men become healthier, wiser and more grounded versions of themselves — and protecting the next generation of boys.
Meet your host
Venu Bhamidi is a Vascular Surgeon on the Gold Coast, a father of two boys, and someone who has spent the last few years navigating much of what he now talks about — separation, mental health, identity, purpose and rebuilding after setbacks. He started this podcast because the conversations he needed weren't happening anywhere he could find them.
